Volunteer/Mission Trips

Many of our Ministry Sites and Alliance Members rely heavily on volunteers.

VolunteerBetween our Ministry Sites and Alliances, thousands of children, families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities are helped each year in communities of compassion and care. Along with dedicated and passionate staff, a large cadre of volunteers is needed to fulfill each agency’s mission. There is a wide variety of ways in which individuals, congregations and regions can become involved.

Volunteer opportunities can be geared toward individuals who are seeking to live out their faith, or through a mission trip with others in your youth group or congregation. Mission opportunities can be arranged for church groups from one to several days.

Mission Trips

Individuals or groups can enjoy fun and rewarding experiences by volunteering their time and talents. Potential opportunities may include:

  • Mentoring a child
  • Friendly visitors
  • Plan a party/activity with residents
  • Home improvements for residential facilities
  • Landscaping or groundskeeping
  • Assist in fundraising and special event efforts
