Join our Network of Disciples Health and Social Service Ministries

“We want to bring together social service advocates and care providers so that may be connected with one another and increase their leverage and impact in the care and services they provide each day" - Mark D. Anderson, NBA President.

In the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the ministries of health and social services have been core to our Disciples identity and faith. Today, the NBA and Disciples Home Missions (DHM) are collaborating to support a growing network of Disciples health and social service ministries.

Participation is by choice. A demonstrated connection to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) ethos, mission, or structure should be evident through mission statements, board representation, or congregational/regional/general church/ecumenical alliances.

Ministry partners will be connected through peer and web-based networks and have access to available resources, including: grant opportunities, informational updates, peer learning opportunities, web-based and face-to-face conversations, social advocacy alliances, best-practice guidelines, and other connectional resources as the network deems appropriate. As a Disciples-related health and social service ministry, your organization will be included on the NBA website, with links from other general and regional partners.
