Ferguson, Clergy, and the Faith that Fuels their Lives

Dr. Leah Gunning Francis, Associate Dean of Contextual Education at Eden Theological Seminary, spoke at the NBA on June 4, 2015. She describes her upcoming book, Faith and Ferguson: Sparking Leadership and Awakening Community, as a collection of stories and emergent issues that she hopes will spur conversation that translates into strategic action. Regarding her experiences and learnings with the clergy and activists related to Ferguson and the fight for racial justice, Gunning Francis encourages us to “awaken our senses” to the situation and environment around us.
