SUMMARY:Apply for a Spring 2026 Mission & Ministry Grant

These communities have been served by NBA’s ministry since our founding in 1887 and are communities that we continue to support and accompany. \nClick here to learn more about the program and read the full eligibility details. \nApplications for the Spring 2026 cycle are now closed.

SUMMARY:From Montgomery to Minneapolis: Organizing in Times of Disruption
DESCRIPTION:In moments of disruption\, communities often rise with renewed purpose—choosing to block harm\, bridge across differences\, and build something better together. Seventy years ago\, the Montgomery Bus Boycott showed how everyday people\, united in dignity and determination\, could stop an unjust system in its tracks and forge powerful bonds of solidarity that carried a movement forward. \nIn Minneapolis\, amid ongoing struggles over immigration enforcement\, communities are showing how solidarity endures in real time—sharing information\, standing with vulnerable neighbors\, and refusing to let fear isolate those most affected. Through acts of courage and care\, they create hope across communities and develop new forms of collective protection. \nThis webinar invites you to draw inspiration from these stories—past and present—to discover how courage\, connection\, and shared resolve can guide us through collective organizing amid the uncertainties of our time.  The Disciples Justice Ministries Group awaits you on this celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott\, its legacy\, and how communities are organizing hope today. \nThis free virtual event will take place on Thursday\, March 26th at 7:30pm ET/6:30pm CT. \n  \nSpeakers \nRev. Angel Luis Rivera-Agosto\, NBA´s Community Engagement Senior Coordinator for Justice Initiatives\nRev. Dr. Laurie Pound Feille\, Disciples Public Presence\nRev. Dr. Jack Sullivan Jr.\, Disciples Justice Action Network
