SUMMARY:Apply for the 2027 SENT Cohort!
DESCRIPTION:Each year we select a Cohort of new faith-rooted social entrepreneurs to be a part of a community of support and growth. Those who are selected to be apart of our SENT Cohort will participate in an ongoing process of learning & development of their projects. \nThe Cohort experience will provide a tailored curriculum to help launch their projects. Over 12 months\, our group will participate in four Cohort Huddles: a combination of virtual workshops and in-person gatherings. Throughout this process\, our Cohort will be provided with specialized coaching to help support and strengthen their social enterprise. Cohort Members will also have access to certain resources from NBA\, including: \n\n   Project featured one or more times through shared NBA materials\n   Access to short-term consultations with NBA-related professionals/consultants\n   Opportunity to apply for assistance with site visits to similar projects/organizations\n   Ongoing communications and learning/networking opportunities through NBA.\n   Micro-funding to offset start-up expenses\n\nApplications are now open and will be accepted through August 1\, 2026.\nYou can preview the SENT Cohort application form here.\n \nApply Now\n  \nProjected Huddle Dates\nThere will be several opportunities for this group to come together. How can congregations\, ministry leaders\, and justice advocates support hope\, healing\, restoration\, and second chances? \nJoin the members of the Prison & Jail Ministries Peer Learning and Wellness Group for a special webinar featuring practical tools\, restorative justice insights\, and real-world experiences from those engaged in ministry alongside incarcerated individuals\, their families\, and their communities. The Group will share resources for congregations\, prison outreach programs\, restorative justice practices\, family support ministries\, pen-pal initiatives\, devotional and preaching materials\, and recommended books\, films\, and educational tools. You’ll also hear stories and lessons learned from ministry practitioners working in diverse settings across the country. \nWhether you are a pastor\, chaplain\, volunteer\, community leader\, or someone exploring ways to engage in this ministry\, you’ll leave with practical resources\, new ideas\, and renewed inspiration. \nBecause every person is more than their worst mistake\, and every community can play a role in restoration. \nThis virtual event will take place on Wednesday\, August 26th at 7:30pm ET/6:30pm CT.
