In this webinar, health and social service ministry nonprofits and social enterprises can learn to improve their use of and presence on Facebook. This free workshop is intended for CC(DOC)/UCC leaders and entrepreneurs in the health and social service ministry. Facilitated by Rev. LaShaundra McCarty of 3C: Creative Communications & Consulting, and hosted by the NBA Incubate Initiative.

Webinar Pre-Work

Gather four images:
1) Two images depicting your work or services
2) One image that could be your timeline/cover photo
3) One smaller image for your profile photo
4) Organization logo (if applicable)

  • Draft a post (two paragraphs max) of one of the images depicting your work.
  • Write a short description (less than 150 characters) of your organization, including pertinent keywords.
  • Write a longer description of your organization and work.

Have your contact information ready:
1) Website address
2) Main phone number
3) Main email address
4) Hours of operation
5) Physical address (if applicable)

Note: If you do not have a personal Facebook account, you will need to create one and have your password on hand.

Rev. LaShaundra McCarty is the owner of 3C: Creative Communications & Consulting, which has been in business since 2009. She began her post-graduate journey as a graphic designer and social media manager/trainer providing support to nonprofits, denominations, and entrepreneurs. Within Disciples, LaShaundra has worked as a consultant to Reconciliation Ministry, National Convocation, Disciples Home Missions, North Carolina Region, and Disciples Women. Over the years, that has transformed into providing workshops on leadership, communication, social media, storytelling, and brand development. She has expanded from developing the image of an organization to fostering the development of its people.
