First Christian Church, Monongahela

FCC(DOC) is a loving, supportive church family that encourages others to discover God’s love through worship services. FCC partners with DMF, Week of Compassion, Church WorldService, and local ministries. The congregation is a member of the Southwest District of the Pennsylvania Region. It has been a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) since the denomination’s inception in 1968. FCC partners with DMF, Week of Compassion, and Church World Service, and their DOC-ordained minister works regularly with Regional Ministers and ministers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Feeding Hungry Seniors in Monongahela Valley will reduce the gap of rising food costs and utilities. The project aims to provide an outdoor food pantry for seniors 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An outside shed that serves as the pantry gives the opportunity for seniors to get what they need, when they need it, without having to ask for assistance.
