Virtual Community Organizing: AMOS Institute of Public Life Holds Digital Workforce Summit

In June 2020, Iowa’s unemployment rate rose to 8 percent, up from 2.7 percent a year ago. Seeing the impact the COVID-19 crisis was having on Iowans across the state, AMOS Institue of Public Life used their COVID-19 NBA Response Grant to host a Virtual Workforce Summit to educate community leaders about the importance of robust job training programs.
