Community of Resistance Podcast with Sandhya Jha

Recently, Rev. Sandhya Jha, the Executive Director of NBA Incubate Partner Oakland Peace Center, was featured on Community of Resistance – a podcast featuring “interviews with activists who do the work of resisting the empire, to try to give people who are interested in activism and advocacy the kinds of practical tools they need to pursue justice and peace.” In this episode, podcast host, Derek Penwell, speaks with Sandhya about how churches can get involved in social justice and also features material from her newest book, Transforming Communities: How People Like You are Healing Their Neighborhoods, which focuses on “concrete ways that regular people are creating change community-by-community in an era where positive change can feel impossible.”
