Rev. Thomas Harshman
Rev. Tom Harshman is the System Vice President of Pastoral and Spiritual Care at Common Spirit Health. Rev. Harshman has served as a board member for Christian Church Homes, is an endorsed Disciples chaplain, and a member of Disciples in the Desert. He resides in Palm Springs, California.
The NBA’s vision statement is “creating communities of compassion and care.” What does this mean to you?
Communities flourish when the “organism” of a community is also a context for compassion and care. I hear the vision as asserting that NBA wants to be a partner in co-creating communities that embody both compassion and care.
