NBA’s vision statement is “Creating Communities of Compassion and Care.” What does that mean to you?
For me the vision means that NBA is committed to doing the work to love, know, and help others by being in community with all. People in a compassionate community have the best context for what those in their community need and ability to affect change.
Why did you say yes to serving on the NBA Board of Trustees?
The mission really resonated with me and the work that NBA does is exciting and very much needed in today’s world.
