Rev. Josh Sawyer
Rev. Josh Sawyer is the Senior Pastor at First Christian Church in Omaha, Nebraska.
Rev. Sawyer brings extensive nonprofit board leadership experience, including serving as the chair of NBA’s health and social service partner Child Saving Institute in Omaha. He holds a Master of Divinity degree and is ordained in the United Church of Christ.
Why did you say yes to serving on the NBA Board of Trustees?
It’s a great organization that is making differences the lives of people and communities.
NBA’s vision statement is “A world of thriving communities where justice and care ensure the well-being of all humanity.” What does that mean to you?
The NBA wants people to be a part of doing the type of work that affirms humans at their core and helps to connect people to resources that will help them flourish.
