This 12-month journey leads faith-rooted social entrepreneurs through an active process of formation and conversation and provides the opportunity to receive specialized coaching to help support and strengthen their social enterprise.

This webinar will explore the power of language in faith communities when addressing addiction, recovery, and healing. Participants will gain insights on using faith-rooted, person-centered language that honors individual journeys while promoting healing, inclusion, and hope.

The 2025 SENT Seminar will be taking place September 8-19, 2025. This year's theme is “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion: Building Impactful Futures.”

Community Conversation: “What Counts as Addiction?”
This guided conversation will explore the question: What counts as addiction? In churches and society at large, some addictions are taboo while others are tolerated or even encouraged. This informal, faith-rooted conversation will name the range of behaviors that can become addictive including alcohol, drugs, gambling, technology, work, food, exercise, and even religious performance.

Soul Care: Carrying Recovery Forward
Join us for a special Soul Care session as we close out National Recovery Month with intention, reflection, and hope. This 30-minute communal space is designed to honor the experiences, insights, and truths shared throughout September while opening a path forward rooted in the ongoing resilient nature of recovery.

Capturing Life Stories
Through the process of life review, we reconnect with significant milestones that can bring resolution and wisdom to be shared across generations. Jan Aerie, Coordinator of Older Adult Ministries, Gerontologist and Family Counselor, and colleagues will discuss how individuals and congregations can take steps to satisfaction and even greater longevity.

2025 Mental Health Professionals Conference
NBA will hold it's 3rd annual hybrid Mental Health Professionals Conference October 2-4 in Denver, Colorado. Both virtual and in-person options will be available for mental health professionals or chaplains working in the field of mental health or completing a graduate degree in a mental health-related area.
