Colby’s Spokane House

NBA XPLOR 2018-19 Resident Colby Robb is currently living in the Spokane House. Colby’s community engagement site is Family Promise of Spokane and his host congregation is North Hill Christian Church.

Below is a drawing by Colby and a reflection on his XPLOR experience in Spokane so far!

“I drew this picture to depict all of the ’18-’19 Spokane XPLOR residents sitting around our dining room table. The laptop represents Nathaniel and how he unwinds by journaling and listening to music all on his laptop. The books represent Emily‘s love to read and how she always has a large stack of them sitting around the living room. The cat and dumbell represent Rachel‘s love to workout which is only trumped by their love for their cat back home. The PS4 controller represents my passion for video games and how I use them to recharge myself. The four of us love to get together to talk about our passions and to support each other’s. I felt like this was the best way to depict the life of our household.”
